Been here a few times and the food is consistently good. There is some air conditioning which is kept in by plastic sheets, but don't expect it to be uber cool in this weather. Typical foldable tables and chairs, with a tray of chilli sauce, spices and fish sauce on the table, complete with a cone of plastic chopsticks.We ordered a papaya salad, pad thai, thai green curry vegetables, beef with garlic, and rice to go with it. For drinks we had a longan juice, a lime soda and a large Chang beer. T
We ordered a papaya salad, pad thai, thai green curry vegetables, beef with garlic, and rice to go with it. For drinks we had a longan juice, a lime soda and a large Chang beer. The food came within 5 minutes of ordering, piping hot from the wok. Everything tasted so good, especially the extra bit of kick in the papay salad, spicy and yet refreshing with a squeeze of lime. The pad thai was well executed, simple yet delicious. The beef was fried in hot oil, which made it almost fluffy and crispy, and the garlic was cooked well without being burn, we just ate clove after clove of it. The green curry was a little small in portion, but it was just enough for the 2 of us and the curry helped us clear up the plate of rice. I would have wanted to get the tom yum soup vermicelli as well, and also the various fried rice, but alas, "wide eyes narrow stomach".
Service was efficient and friendly. Would have scored better if they provided dessert, but there are many options around anyway.
