Anyone living near the mid-levels escalator must have passed by this place at the corner of Shelley St and Staunton St, many many times. I am not an exception. The irony however is that despite the frequent passage, I've never patronized the place before.The reason is that this place is always packed every time I pass by. The reason is that this place is always packed every time I pass by. Indeed, every night especially weekends, the gathering and booze would spill over onto the walkway of Shelley St making this corner in my view, the most popular watering hole in Soho.
On this Saturday morning around 11:00 am, I decided to try my luck again. The tactic worked. There were only a few guests at the place, and the waitresses were still busily preparing for the lunch hour rush.

Then I noticed this nice burger platter ordered by the tourist guest at the bar table. Burgers are my favourite, and I simply cannot resist the temptation and ordered the Classic Staunton Burger ($108).
Then came the burger platter, with a thick and juicy beef patty, toasted seasame bun, fresh lettuce, lots of fries and topped with onion rings.
A very satisfying brunch. Nice environment, good food, will encore during the off-peak hours.张贴
