Having been to Island Shangri-La for business luncheon for so many times, I was never disappointed. Bread Basket
While waiting for the event to begin, I was already hungry enough that I had to savour myself with 1 or 2 bread rolls, I have picked the herb rolls which was tough on the outside and soft inside. The freshly baked and served bread was almost addictive for a hungry person but I have to stop now becuase I need to save my stomach for the main meal.

Poached shrimps and avocado
As a avocado lover, it was such a nice starter to enjoy. The thousand island sauce blended the whole thing together especially when the shrimps were a bit plain after being poached. 

The avocados were half-ripe so that it was easier to cut into and to enjoy with some shrimps.

Pan fried fillet of Seabass
The hotel never failed preparing their perfectly cooked seabass. The fillet of fish was cooked just right. It was totally moist and soft inside, complemented nicely with some winter vegetable on the side.

Grilled beef medallion
I did not order beef but I have tried a bite. The cooked level of the beef differs for different persons. Again, they were all cooked to just medium-rare with a pink centre, complemented with a block of polenta.

Vanilla Cream mille feuille
The portion is very generous for the dessert. The mille feuille was crispy from the puff pastry, while the vanilla cream was fresh and cold without being too sweet. The dish was also topped with some berries and berry sauce. It was such an indulgance and I couldn't help but finish the whole thing!

Petite Four
Although we were already full after a hearty meal, we still couldn't exist trying 1 or 2 petite four bites. I have tried a piece of chocolate and it was hazelnut cream filled. Having it with a nice cup of coffee was just a lovely end to a succesful business luncheon!
