Walked past Owens a couple times and noticed the long queues every time, so we decided to give this spot a try! ☕️ Pic 1️⃣: 伯爵茶麻糬卷蛋 / Earl Grey Mochi Egg Roll - $48 hkd 🍰🍵 — The egg roll was pretty good. The cake itself was light and airy, with a nice earl grey aroma to it. The cream in the centre was a bit thicker than imagined but flavours were quite nice, and not overly sweet either. Pic 2️⃣: 黑松露野菌鸡胸肉阔条面 / Fettuccine with Chicken Breast in Black Truffle Sauce - $82 hkd 🍝
— The chicken breast actually stood out here, it was really well seasoned and flavourful. The meat was also really tender and juicy as well. However, the black truffle sauce did not taste of much and the dish was under seasoned as a whole. There was also not enough sauce to coat the fettuccine.
Pic 3️⃣: 日式柚子汁海虾沙律 / Japanese Yuzu Shrimp Salad - $68 hkd 🥗🦐
— Salad was alright, the tangy dressing made the dish quite appetising. Shrimps had a nice bouncy texture.
Pic 4️⃣: 海盐焦糖朱古力/ Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate - +$20 hkd with the Brunch set 🍫
— Drink was quite bad and extremely watered down. There was barely any chocolate taste in this and you can tell they used a chocolate syrup instead of cocoa powder to prepare this as it had a very artificial chocolate flavour to it. Not to mention there was no sign of the salted caramel as mentioned on the menu. The drink was also half warm which wasn’t great.

— Soup was really watery even though the flavours are acceptable.
Pic 6️⃣: 是日沙律 (日式胡麻酱沙律) / Salad of the Day (Japanese Salad with Sesame Sauce) 🥗
— Salad was standard, nothing mind blowing.
Overall rating:
😋Taste: Food is very average, lack of flavour
📍Ambiance: super loud, seating is a bit cramped, definitely not a cafe to sit and chill at for hours
