Upon visiting, I noticed that the café follows a unique set of rules - customers are required to order at least one drink per person, and most of the cakes are not available for takeaway. This means that you'll have to enjoy your sweet treats in the cozy confines of the café. While the lattes and matcha lattes were of average quality, I must admit that I was there solely for the cakes, and they did not disappoint.
The bakery opens at 1 pm, but the queue usually starts building up as early as 12:45 pm. It's a cash-only establishment, so be sure to have some cash on hand before visiting. Despite the slightly inconvenient ordering process, the cakes are truly exceptional. This time, I had the pleasure of trying the caramel cake roll and the Hojicha basque cheesecake, both of which were simply divine.
Compared to the popular HEMMA, I would say that this hidden gem deserves far more recognition. The cakes here are of superior quality, and the overall experience is more enjoyable, especially if you're looking to savor your treats without the hassle of long queues.
While I still prefer ordering whole cakes for the convenience, I highly recommend visiting the café and experiencing the magic of their delectable creations. This bakery shop is definitely worth seeking out.
