I ordered a pasta alla vodka in order to compare it with the one served at Carbone.
My colleagues ordered pizza, linguini with clams and a Brooklyn sandwich.
The pasta was al dente and bursting with tomato flavor. It was less rich than the one at Carbone but I’m still happy with it.
My only quibble is this: it’s virtually the same as the pasta being served at the buffet!
Well, being extra positive, at least for $30 odd dollars, I get to have warm pasta served to me directly.
Lesson learnt: Caveat emptor ~ let the buyer beware. (But for this mishap, I would have given this a smiley face.)
