Schnitzel & Schnaps is located on Hollywood Road near the Soho area in Central, presenting Central European cuisines. Starting off with the Caesar Salad (HKD65) and Nurnberger Sausage (HKD168), the pork and marjoram sausage was from Germany, served with cabbage slaw, sauerkraut, and potato salad. The meat flavor is strong with a lightly smoked flavor. So juicy!
For the main course, we had Wiener Schnitzel (HKD350). It's a thin slice of veal, coated with bread crumbs, and then pan-fried it. It's served with fingerling potato salad, cucumber, dill, and cranberry sauce. It's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The cranberry sauce was a perfect match with the Schnitzel. What a most representative dish in Austria! For the dessert, I recommend trying the Apple Strudel (HKD120), filled with spiced apples, raisins, and cinnamon in a flaky crust and rolled it up. Vanilla ice-cream came on the side for a hint of iced sweetness. I can't say no to it because I love apple desserts. It's worth a try!
