Comfortable comfort food

Comfort food is something for you to get away from busy life & pamper your broken heart. But it’s not easy to get it in Hong Kong. Even you find one, usually expensive. This chain restaurant is not very famous but definitely desires for being mentioned.It is quite interesting that it located in a busy shopping mall but once you entered the restaurant, it isolated you from the rest of the world. What a comfortable area!The set menu for 2 person was the best-buy with reasonable price from 2 to 3 h

 It is quite interesting that it located in a busy shopping mall but once you entered the restaurant, it isolated you from the rest of the world. What a comfortable area!

The set menu for 2 person was the best-buy with reasonable price from 2 to 3 hundreds. It also had lot of combinations too. We started with the pastry cream soup.

 The pastry was crispy. The soup was unexpectedly creamy. It had several types of mushroom in it. That's more than expected from a chain restaurant.

We had 2 main courses: carbonara & fry pork chops with egg wrapped fry rice......

 The sauce of the Carbonara was creamy. However the bacon was not fried & the smoky flavour was not released! Spaghetti was al dente.

 The devil: fry pork chops with egg wrapped fry rice. In order to increase the devilish of this dish, it served with a piece of cheese and bubbling hot cheese sauce!!! I think it had 5000kcal......


The real main course was actually the ice cream waffle!

 Cripsy chocholate ice cream banana waffle......just the name already told you this was the best part of the dinner. The waffle had rich taste of egg & was so soft inside!

One minor thing was the cup was not very environmental friendly.

 The price was the biggest surprise for such big comfort mral & it actually filled up the stomach of 3 persons this evening.
