Frites does it again with this new location just around the corner from their previous Wellington Street restaurant.Identical ambience and fit out to their other locations but a better big room feeling than their Wellington Street location which was a bit too long and narrow.Their mussels and Flemish dishes were as good as always and the service was of a welcoming standard.Interesting to see that the owner was there keeping a close eye on things and when the staff got a bit heavy handed with the

Interesting to see that the owner was there keeping a close eye on things and when the staff got a bit heavy handed with the volume knob on the music he was straight in to keep the ambience for the patrons at a level where they could continue their conversations without shouting to be heard.
At the time of my visit they had not got their liquor license so they were directing people to nearby stores and there was no corkage.
Really pleased to see their new restaurant in Sheung Wan/Central to save going to Wan Chai.
