Having walked pass this Japanese restaurant many times, finally tried it today!This shop located at Kings Road, just next to Olympia Plaza. There was a big advertisement at its entrance. You could definitely find it easily!The shop wasnt very big and only did take-away food. But at the corner, there was a small bar table that you could also choose to stand and eat. The shop wasnt very big and only did take-away food. But at the corner, there was a small bar table that you could also choose to stand and eat.
Quite some different food was served there, such as curry, omelet rice, fried noodles, sashimi rice, etc. You could also order the sushi one by one.
We finally ordered two sets and did them at the bar table:
1) Mikura Sashimi Rice(w/Sea Urchin, Salmon, Sweet Shrimp, Scallop, Salmon Roe) HKD93 (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💢): Japanese rice with rich Sashimi toppings. Salmon was definitely the highlights. Slices were thick and the meat was oily. 6 slices in total. Besides, the scallop was fresh and with strong sea water taste. Just that the portion was rather small, only two thin slices. Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe were of standard quality.
2) Grilled Eel Rice HKD80(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💢): The size of the Eel was amazing. It was longer than the chopsticks. It tasted quite good. The source wasnt too salty and it was still hot when served. Just that it wasnt crispy. Maybe it was just re-heated...
If you happened to be in a big rush, you could also choose to buy the readily-available food at the freezer
