The cow, although obviously top grade, is not cheap! Depending on which body part you are after, the skewers can be anything from $45-65 EACH! I was with a massively meat-eating man friend, and we had to tread with caution! We tried the beef tongue, wagyu sausage, rib-eye and sweetbreads, and as usual beef tongue was my favourite - very tender, with a charcoal tone.

They also have a list of "snacks", and we tried their belly pork with kimchi, which I thought was actually the best dish of the evening. They also had a special fish of the day (can't remember the name unfortunately) which is grilled to a crisp, so you can actually eat the fish bones. Very unusual, and a nice touch as the waiter/owner seemed to be very passionate about it.

Overall as I said, not cheap - because there is no "big dish", you suddenly feel like you have spent $500 per person on not a lot. But definitely worth a try for the cute izakaya atmosphere.
