💁🏻♀️ Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Groovy, an upstairs restaurant located in Causeway Bay. We ordered the below:🥗 Appetizer:We started with the refreshing Vegan Fruit Salad (素食杂果沙律). The Sous Vide Angus Hanging Tender with Chimichurri Sauce & Fries (慢煮安格斯封门柳配阿根庭青酱&炸薯条) was a true highlight. The tender and succulent Angus beef, cooked to perfection through the sous vide method, was complemented by the vibrant chimichurri sauce and accompanied by crispy fries.
🍝 Main Course 2:
The Mentaiko Garlic Linguine with Hokkaido Scallops (炙烧北海道带子配蒜香明太子扁意粉) was a delightful fusion dish. The smoky grilled Hokkaido scallops paired beautifully with the savory garlic linguine, enhanced by the umami flavors of the Mentaiko sauce.
🍮 Dessert:
For dessert, we indulged in the classic Panna Cotta with Ice Cream (意式奶冻佐雪糕) and also added the decadent Tiramisu (+$36). The silky smooth panna cotta, combined with a scoop of indulgent ice cream, provided a satisfyingly sweet ending. The Tiramisu, with its layers of espresso-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone, was a rich and delightful treat.
☕ Beverage:
We accompanied our meal with a choice of Lemongrass and Ginger tea (柠檬草姜茶) and Chamomile tea (洋甘菊茶), which added a refreshing touch to the overall dining experience.
💰The total bill for two, including a 10% service charge, amounted to $591.
