I've heard of Prosit many years ago and finally got the chance to give it a try. Prosit is a casual bar and restaurant on Ashley Road that offers classic German cuisine. All Day Breakfast is the best choice when you have difficulty on deciding what to eat. Fried eggs, German sausage, bacon, butter bread, mushrooms, potatoes, ketchup beans and greens - a combo that one never gets bored of. Served efficiently so we had something to munch on while waiting for the main dish.
Ordered the German staple Pork Knuckle to share. Freshly roasted so it took some time. Piping hot. Crackling skin. The meat was moist and tender with gelatinous tendons. The sauerkraut was also served warm.
They also provide 1/2 pork knuckle in their lunch menu which would be a great alternative for solo diners.
