Rainy Saturday at 3pm, there weren't much food options since most places closed until dinner time, so we ventured to Fashion Walk to suss out the new places that's recently opened up. Passed by Bistro Bloom and the decor was very rustic and comfortable so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Short Rib Bubble & Steak which B was keen to try. Nice hash, steak was med well done. Nice but nothing amazing.
I was debating on Philly Cheesesteak sandwich or their Fois Gra burger but went cheesesteak instead. Again, don't get me wrong as nothing wrong with their food but really nothing special as I felt it's something I can make at home. Was slightly disappointed they used what looks like processed cheese (kraft singles?!) and the bread was quite thick in comparison to the filling. Overall it ended up tasting like McDs cheeseburger. I liked though, that for an additional $10 you can add on a coffee or tea which was nice and reasonable.
Overall, cute place to come for a coffee and chat as the ambiance and location was nice but I won't be itching to return soon for their food....
