We missed missed missed having crêpes everywhere in Paris. Where are the good crêpes in Hong Kong? Sweet crêpes are easily found but not the savoury ones. We were here at La Crêperie looking for some delicious crêpe we missed so much from Paris. We started with La Marin as our savoury dish. We missed missed missed having crêpes everywhere in Paris. Where are the good crêpes in Hong Kong? Sweet crêpes are easily found but not the savoury ones. We were here at La Crêperie looking for some delicious crêpe we missed so much from Paris. We started with La Marin as our savoury dish. La Marin has scallops, mushrooms, bacon cooked in white wine sauce. The scallops were way overcooked to our liking but the white wine sauce was creamy and fragrant. We found that the crêpe was a bit too dry and has a slight burnt taste which we don’t really like.
After the not-so-satisfying savoury crêpes, we moved onto desserts and ordered LE DÊFI. It was a sweet crêpe that came with caramel ice cream, banana and salted butter caramel. This was way better than the savoury one, it was softer and moist. We particularly like the salted butter caramel which was done nicely and had an apparent flavor of salt. The whole combination was heavenly and we will definitely be back for the desserts!
