Stepping into Kenko Shokuhin Ramen is like stepping into a little corner of Japan. The cozy space, run by a Japanese team, exudes authenticity and warmth. I opted for the Roast Pork Ramen, eager to delve into a classic. The broth was undeniably the star – rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The noodles were cooked to perfection, boasting the ideal texture and bite. However, the roast pork, sadly, was a letdown. Instead of melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, it was disappointingly rough and chewy.

To accompany my meal, I tried their highball. It was a decent drink, refreshing and well-made, but nothing extraordinary. While I enjoyed it, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as a must-try. Perhaps on a scorching summer day, it would hit the spot.
On a previous visit, I sampled their bento box, which turned out to be a delightful surprise. The variety and execution of the dishes within the bento surpassed my ramen experience.
