no waiting time at 3pm on sunday ordered 3 sets, 2 ceylon tea + 1 earl gray the disappointing new york cheesecake: too rough, too hard, poke with with a fork, you can lift up the whole cake, doesn't have that melt in your mouth feeling. tiramisu: LOVE IT! lots of rum! not sweet, no spongecake bottoms, authentic homemade style! decent amount of lady fingers! and if you poke it, rum actually leaks out from the lady fingers. its really really good! reminds me of tiramisu i make at home. lots of rum and ladyfingers! the highlight: tofu cheesecake! soft, smells good, light, strong tofu taste! not something that is commonly offered.
i would definitely come back!
service was nice, homely, friendly.
however place seemed somehwat rundown, and the beige/light brown flowery table cloths aren't that appealing.
seating is NOT comfortable. there's only room for 3 tables, so i guess peak hours might have to wait (what is lamma island peak hours?)
maybe i should bring a tofu cheesecake home next time.
