Wanted to find some quality places for getting lunch to enjoy back at the office and stumbled upon this little Japanese takeaway point. It's a small business and they make the food fresh! I went to them twice so I could try more things before writing. Surprisingly great food! The portion was great too, they even give you a slice of lemon to add a bit of tanginess to the dish and it really works. Satisfying meal. There was a lot of rice but they have this type of salt condiment sprinkled on it (I suspect it's plum salt) and I just could not get enough! Definitely makes you want to eat more.
The omurice also exceeded expectations! I always found that it's difficult to find a place that actually makes very fluffy egg omelette rice but they did it! The egg was not overcooked at all, it was super soft and tender. It wrapped around the rice perfectly, and the flavour was rich. The rice itself was also well seasoned and overall very satisfying food.
They give you miso soup with your food, the soup is could have more flavour, but still tasty and perfect for cold days!
