After shopping at muji, me and my friend were getting a bit hungry and saw this Japanese restaurant. My friend said that she tried the one at Shatin and the food was nice so we went in for dinner. Unfortunately, we didn't get the seat next to the window, the night view was beautiful. Anyway, we ordered a drink to start with; the grape and peach soda were refreshing! Both of them were not too sweet and great for this hot weather. Salad is our must order item, I ordered my all time favourite deep
👉chicken with plum and perilla sauce: the chicken pieces were tender and juicy! The sauce was plumy and fruity.
👉chicken wing:
The chicken wing was stretched out nicely so it was easy to eat.
👉Japanese mushroom:
The mushroom smelled so nice, it was juicy and tasted wildly.
👉lady finger:
The lady finger was soft and greenly. I didn't know it actually taste quite good with salt and pepper. Deep fried shrimps came next then. They were placed nicely on the plate with egg salad at the bottom. The shrimp was juicy and soft. I like the potato fries which wrapped around the shrimp, they were crunchy. I really like this dish! Deep fried crab cake was my favourite. The coating was thin and crispy. The crab cake was so yummy! The texture was smooth and super creamy! It was rich in flavour and very tasty. To finish off our dinner, we ordered two desserts which were the Japanese rice cake with red bean and mango sorbet. The Japanese rice cake is our favourite! Not a lot of the places has this dessert so we take our chances. The rice cake was heated up so the outside is crispy whereas the inside is soft. It tasted so good with the red bean paste!!!!!!! The mango sorbet was served in mango which felt like eating mango. The sorbet was fruity and rich in flavour.
