They've been here for quite a while now and was one of the first companies here to focus on this juice clensing lifestyle. But originally they were an online store. Now they have a shop in IFC. Cold pressed juices are a big trend lately in the health obsessed world. There are articles on how healthy and better it is to press fruit instead of the traditional way of blitzing it with a blender. The fruit or vegetable is not processed as much. Its raw enzymes are still in tact. Therefore, it's better for you and your body is clensed from those horrible toxins inside.

The IFC shop has their various juices, all for geared at different ways to make your body better. You can swing by and have one or you can totally commit and buy a bunch of different juices to start their clensing program. They give you helpful advice for those that are not sure. They also sells some healthy snacks as well.

I bought one juice called The Master ($55). It included lemon, lime, acai, raw maple, cayenne and chia. Several ingredients were organic. It said on the bottle that it was a fat buster and metabolism booster. It tasted like spicy lemonade. I'm unsure if my fat was zapped away or my metabolism worked faster than normal. But then again it was just one bottle of juice. It wasn't horrible tasting. I liked it. It reminded me of the Flu Buster that is found at Pret A Manger, that I also like but I know many people don't.

$55 is pretty expensive for a bottle of juice but then again ... trying to be beautiful and fit is never cheap. I mean ... come on? How much money do you spend on products for your face? And going to the gym is not cheap. I spend quite a bit going to yoga. So, I guess, drinking something healthy that costs as much as a plate of char siu rice is pretty reasonable to me if you want to look beautiful and stay healthy. They gave me a card to collect stamps. So, after my 10th stamp, my next juice is free. I will return when I need a health fix. I'm unsure if I will commit to their full detox program but ... I can't say never.
