Had lunch (dimsum buffet) on Saturday with my family and my sister who is visiting HK. We had the afternoon buffet dimsum which starts at 2pm.For a public listed company, the operations is very unorganized and in total disarray. I have been to their China stores in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Xiamen, which are more properly managed and better service. The food: Congee and 碗仔翅 - self service from a big serving pot. The food:
Congee and 碗仔翅 - self service from a big serving pot. Congee and 碗仔翅 was ok, nothing exceptional. When we started at 2.15pm, the pots were empty and waited until 2.45 before asking the captain if there will be refills before it was done....
口水鸡 - taste was better than expected, a bit of spicy . But in really, really small portion. We ended up having to put in 4 orders as this is the only dish that we liked the most.
虾饺，烧卖，凤爪，排骨,牛肉 - all were standard stuff. But you have to wait more than an hour for it to arrive. They even asked us to settle our bill first even though a major portion of our order have not yet arrived.
灌汤饺 - came later than the bill and was not worth the wait at ALL!! SALTY!! And they ended up sending us 2 times our order for which the 2nd serving we rejected back... who would want another taste of it!!!
桂花糕 - came second to the chicken in taste.
Overall, food quality and taste is Low to standard with most of the food too salty for our taste. And the service is awful and terrible. I won't probably be back to the HK stores if I can help it.
