Having heard of Mana before and loving the Mana Cafe, my friends and I decided to get food from Mana Central. It was a complete disappointment. To start with, the food took way too long. We ordered a burger combo and took more than 30 minutes and this was during non-peak hours. But we understand that as there's a board near the counter reading that their food takes time as its freshly made. So we thought the fresh food would make up for it. But no.In summary,1. In summary,
1. The fries were double fried. It was obvious that they had been fried before and were refried before serving it to us. It made us feel like we were eating a dried grease stick.
2. The burger was not properly made. The buns were cracking, not stacked properly and the sauce and oil was dripping from it. It was difficult to eat and so oily.
3. The salad, fries and burger were packed in the same box. So the salad dressing was all over the burger and fries (the paper it was wrapped into didn't help). FYI, after receiving the order, we started eating in 10 minutes and we took it carefully to our spot.
In summary, we felt like we took away a box of oil. Everything was so oily and didn't seem like what Mana stands for, healthy and fresh food. We didn't feel good eating it.
