Made a reservation and checked with the restaurant multiple times to confirm barrier-free access. Upon arrival, we were told the lift leads to the backdoor of the restaurant, but that door was locked, so we could not enter. The staff said they had no means to open the door, and we should leave. In addition, the staff refused to come down to speak with my handicapped friend and hastily told us that it's not their problem, and there was nothing they could do. In addition, the staff refused to come down to speak with my handicapped friend and hastily told us that it's not their problem, and there was nothing they could do. They were unapologetic and unwilling to help. We tried to talk to another staff, but we were mostly ignored as they focused on the able-bodied customers.

It was extremely infuriating and we didn't think this would be such a problem in the 21st century.
