Hung's delicacies is located at the less lively side of the airport at T2. If it weren't for the TV show introducing its branch in North Point, I would have never paid attention to this place. The staff were very nice to me and my friend throughout the whole experience.
Taste & Value:
We noticed a bowl of tofu/wood ear on the table when we sat down. At first, we thought that they hadn't cleaned the table yet, but actually it was complimentary. It wasn't presented too nicely, and also didn't taste too delicious. It had a mustardy taste, but was sweet. Both of us didn't really like it. After watching the TV show, I became very interested in the Choi Lan Lo Mein ($48). I had high hopes for this, but it disappointed me. What is special about this green onion/ ginger lo mein is that it uses lard. However, there really wasn't much taste, and there wasn't much green onions or ginger at all. Worst of all, I became extremely thirsty and remianed thirsty for the rest of the day. Maybe they should rename the lo mein as MSG noodles instead. In attempt to kill my thirst, I got a Hot Red Bean Milk Tea ($18), which I enjoyed. I have never had red bean with milk tea before so I thought it was a quite unique combination. The red beans were mildly sweet, and the tea was strong; somehow it really worked. I recommend this drink. Final Verdict:
In no way was the food a delicacy. The drink saved it from receiving a cry face.
