Eat in COMMERCIAL Building Instead

The cafe style restaurant is located in a commercial building just 3 mins walk from MTR, rather than industrial building, with its interior looks clean and comfortable with wooden furniture.The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with dinner pricing at around $150-$200 for each main course.  The requested medium rare sirloin was cooked to perfection with a bright ruby centre and nicely seared surface.

 However, the texture wasn’t the softest or the tenderest steak I have ever eaten. The most interesting part comes to the sauce, which is believed to be mad with a mix of Bovril sauce and mushroom sauce.

 Tilapia is one of the healthiest and leanest fish in the sea. Its unique taste might not be accepted by every one but it was still very tasty to me. Again, the fillet was interestingly paired with Chinese fermented soya bean sauce! I have never had this combination before!

 This coffee is a cup of regular coffee with coffee jelly added at the bottom. Their jelly was the highlight of the drink offering a sweet and intense coffee flavour.

 Their caramel latte was rather surprising with caramel syrup at the bottom, coffee, topped with milk, cream and even more caramel sauce. The four layer coffee gave a complexity to the drink.

 I am afraid I am not able to share our thoughts about their dessert this time since my stomach was about to explode. Anyway, they do have a few selection of sweet dishes like waffle, chocolate lava cake, cakes, etc. 

Since I believe the rent is higher when the restaurant is located in a commercial building, the price is slightly higher than their neighbour restaurants in the area. Having dinner in a commercial building is a lot more welcoming. If you like to have dinner in a more spacious environment and good service, Lava Java is for you in Kwun Tong area then.
