This Food Town in Chuk Yuen Plaza is definitely a hidden gem! Thai skewers, Taiwanese bubble milk tea, and much much more. Highly recommend a visit for inexpensive food hunting here.My friend and I visited 潮煲饭 after a hike that finished at Tsz Wan Shan. I was so amazed by how they make clay pot rice with just a metal pot and induction stove! Yet the burnt rice at the bottom, the taste and aroma of the pot rice was definitely as good as the real clay pot rice, if not even better!I chose this Eel

My friend and I visited 潮煲饭 after a hike that finished at Tsz Wan Shan. I was so amazed by how they make clay pot rice with just a metal pot and induction stove! Yet the burnt rice at the bottom, the taste and aroma of the pot rice was definitely as good as the real clay pot rice, if not even better!
I chose this Eel and Chicken Clay Pot Rice. The eel was very meaty; and the chicken was very, very tender! The bits and pieces of Chinese sausage added so much flavour to the pot. Nom Nom Nom.
Would definitely love to visit again to try out their homemade soup next time!
