A classic HK street food can't get any better without modification in ingredient mix. Among the long list of innovative eggettes, the Matcha and Red Bean one here wins my heart. It has been around the 5th time I had this whenever I hang around in this area, though it can be more frequent if accessibility of this area improves. 10-minute walk from Jordan MTR station is OK but not at all a fancy walk around the old streets.It was 2pm on a Saturday that I came again, unluckily waiting for around 10

It was 2pm on a Saturday that I came again, unluckily waiting for around 10 minutes to get my Matcha eggettes. The quality didn't let me down, matcha flavour was rich and not tasting fake. Red beans inside, however, can be better if they were softer and blend into the matcha sponge. Apparently they soaked red beans with sweetened water to make it sweeter, luckily the sweetness is alright as the matcha sponge wasn't having extra sweetness.
It isn't the kind of airy eggettes you may find elsewhere, so I treated it like a egg-shaped pancake with red beans! Winning my heart still despite the rather-long wait.
