Japanese food is one of my all-time favorite cuisines, therefore I randomly chose a restaurant on my way after work and my eyes got caught up with this big poster where it shows these massive rolls and extremely long nigiri sushi so I went in and tried out some of their sushi.I ordered a set of seven extra-long nigiri sushi, it was quite fun to eat with and they even teach you step by step how to eat a piece of sushi that long on one of the those paper placemats. I ordered a set of seven extra-long nigiri sushi, it was quite fun to eat with and they even teach you step by step how to eat a piece of sushi that long on one of the those paper placemats. The fish were fresh and the eel was tasteful, the massive volcano roll (California roll) was so huge I couldn’t even fit it into my mouth all at once; it took me at least five bites to finish one piece of it! I loved the fact that they squeezed an overload of mayonnaise on top of it; yes I’m a mayo freak!
As for the salmon flower roll with uni and fish cod roe and other grilled food like ox tongue and chicken kidney tasted mediocre.Overall I’d rate this restaurant as a bit above average, while most of the points are rewarded for its massive sushi sizes and the disproportionate sashimi:rice nigiri sushi ratio(which is a good thing).
