To avoid the crowd during the actual Valentine's Day, we decided to celebrate Valentine Day earlier. I suggested The Point, as they have Valentine dinner set currently and the dishes were quite attractive. The dinner set consisted of drinks, appetizers, main course and desserts. Lobster bisque - It was creamy and thick in texture, with strong lobster taste. There were lobster meat in it and was chewy.
Smoked salmon and dill tartlette - It was presented in the shape of a tart, with salmon on top of it. The tart was soft and crispy, and salmon was soft and smooth.
Ravioli with porcini and sausage - Ravioli was cooked till soft and smooth, and was very creamy. The fillings inside were flavourful.
Flaming lobster pizza - It was presented nicely, with a large piece of lobster placed on top of the pizza. The pizza was of thin crust, and was soft and crispy. The chef was generous with the toppings, with lots of seafood on it. Lobster meat was chewy and flavourful.
Chocolate fondant with roasted marshmallows - Chocolate fondant was baked till warm and when we cut open, the chocolate lava came flowing out. Chocolate was creamy and thick, complimenting well with the marshmallow.
