As an American expat burger-lover, I usually have to travel far from TKT to find decent Westerm food, so this was a surprise. We had the angus beef burger and lamb burger, along with fries. The Angus beef burger was even better than the Wagyu burger at old standby Ruby Tuesday's. I was also skeptical of the lamb burger (never had one before and I've found lamb in Hong Kong at times a bit too gamey), but it was absolutely excellent. The fries were also excellent, large and crisp with just the rig

I was also skeptical of the lamb burger (never had one before and I've found lamb in Hong Kong at times a bit too gamey), but it was absolutely excellent. The fries were also excellent, large and crisp with just the right amount of batter. We finished it off with the homemade apple crumble (made right in the restaurant), which was comparable the to homemade cobblers I enjoyed back home.
The negatives? Seating is very limited, though we had no trouble finding a place just before closing time. The hours are also somewhat inconvenient for late-night dinner hopefuls. The hours listed on OpenRice say it closes at 8pm, but we were there at 8:30pm and I infer from my conversation with the owner that they will stay open as long as they have customers and might consider adding staff and hours as the business grows. It seems most of the current business comes from the lunch crowd from the nearby HSBC building.
I, for one, certainly hope this new business succeeds. Excellent food at great prices in a location convenient for all who live near Olympic Station. We'll be back again for sure.
