We got a nice table with a great view, but the table was not very clean, with droplets of oil and soy sauce all over, and a bit sticky. My wife and I ordered two lunch sets (a hamburger set and a chicken and pork teppanyaki set) and some veggies as an add on.The food was delicious, and it is fun to cook it yourself. Our waiter didn't speak any English, which in such an area as Causeway Bay is actually unacceptable. And he didn't understand what a Coke light.was, even as my wife asked in Cantonese. That was very weird.
We had to ask twice for our veggies, which consisted of green bell pepper, carrots, 4 huge pieces of leek, two huge slices of onion and half a cabbage. That was a bit surprising and, as mentioned above, we are not experts in Japanese cooking. My wife asked our waiter if they could cut.them down for us. He reluctantly took them away and returned, having halved the cabbage and.the leeks. Not much of an improvement.
So, the food experience was great, but when your waiter looks like he'd rather be doing something else far away, it takes away from the enjoyment.
We will definitively come again, for lunch. Dinner time is just too crowded and we have failed to get a table within reasonable time.
