It has been years that my family had celebrations at Regal group restaurants because of the member privilege. This year I chose to have semi-buffet lunch at this restaurant. This was my fourth visit, but the first time with a lovely couple, my sister and her husband. Right after the entrance, we could see the salad and dessert bar. This was my fourth visit, but the first time with a lovely couple, my sister and her husband. Right after the entrance, we could see the salad and dessert bar. There were a few kinds of Cheese, sliced assorted meat, desserts, fruit and soup.
We were led to a spacious table with street and river views. I asked a restaurant staff about my birthday treat. He was very helpful and had everything, including the complementary birthday cake, fixed for me.
I started with some salad and cheese, then I had cream of mushroom soup. I like the soup, hot and delicious and I could feel the finely chopped mushroom in it.
For the main, we’ve ordered Stewed Oxtail in Red Wine with Spaghetti, Roasted Lamb Rack and Pan-Fried Barramundi Fillet. The portion size of the main was big and I could not finish my barramundi fillet. I like the fish, it was soft but the skin was crispy. My sister had stewed oxtail which originally came with linguine, but on our request, they changed it to spaghetti. My sister said that the oxtail was soft and yummy, she liked the al dante texture of the spaghetti, and she managed to finished all hers. My brother-in-law’s roasted lamb rack was good too. My sister and I shared his French fries.

After the meal, the very helpful restaurant staff asked if we would like to cut and eat the complementary birthday cake in the restaurant. As we were very satisfied, so we chose to take it away.
To me, it is a memorable dinning experience, not only because of the presentation and taste of the food, the member privileges, but their excellent service. I guess the only improvement they need is about the restaurant environment, they may need a renovation, especially the ceiling with water stain.
