Alright, let's get to the point here.

On my second-to-last day in HK my mom said I totally had to check this place out for Dim Sum, so off I went with her to this place which I had passed many times before but never tried b/c it was too expensive for cheap hobos like me.


As soon as we arrived, there was a HUGE line to get in... now I'm down with HK enough to know that this is a good sign: big lines in HK usually mean the food's good.

Anyhow, for the first time ever I tried a "Soup Dumpling" where the soup was inserted directly into the pastry. It was, well, soupy.
but pleasant. All the standard items we got were pretty good, but the prices were a little high for my liking. The service, however, seemed to be overloaded, and while everyone seemed quite nice by HK standards, I think they were somewhat, well, understaffed for the restaurant's size. The food, tho, was pretty good. And the decor was quite nice for a Chinese restaurant like this.

All in all, not a bad lunch. Building up an appetite in the huge line was part of the fun.
