we booked a table for 6 at 7.30pm. i arrived on time and planned to grab the table first. the receptionist said that the table was being returned and asked me to wait for a moment, then i waited until i was the only one sitting and waiting at the reception area for 20 minutes. during the time i was waiting, actually there were at least 15 ppl going in and i started to wonder if the table could only be returned when all my friends would be there. finally i could get in at 7.50 when 3 of my othe
ok fine, we sat down and we were asked to order some drinks. very normal, as customers, we would reply if they would serve any water like tap water. and the boy replied "Yes" with a very bad face... what an attitude!!!! for a newly opened restaurant, should customers be received this type of service? are they expecting customers to describe their restuarnat like this?
one of my friends the started to talk about the conversation she had with the staff there before. the staff was urging my friend to arrive on time cos they could hold up the table for ONLY 5 minutes. but please don't forget..... i have been already there waiting for 20 minutes, is there really a need to urge.... should there be a better co-ordination in the restaurant.
When all of us were there, we ordered beer/wine and soup, 5-6 starters, 2-3 main dishes. the bill was about $960 for 6 ppl.
after 1 hour or so, we have finished our dinner and we just sat down for a while longer and chit chat, and we have been interrupted 3-4 times whether we would order some more dishes, more dessert, drinks, coffee or tea.....? though we were not full and would like order some more, having received such an excellent service, we decided to check the bill and change to another place for a piece of cake.
this was our first time as well as the last time we had in SML.....
