Awful experience at BRICK LANE Deli today! Got a ticket a 2pm (ticket number B062), was told by the staff that there’s 8 people ahead of me so I won’t make it for lunch but can do tea which I’m totally fine. I took my 3 years old to the toilet then came back and saw that they had called B064. I told the staff and she said I had to get a new ticket. I showed them the ticket which clearly stated that I only need to get a new ticket if they have called 3 numbers past my ticket. Then the other male

I took my 3 years old to the toilet then came back and saw that they had called B064. I told the staff and she said I had to get a new ticket. I showed them the ticket which clearly stated that I only need to get a new ticket if they have called 3 numbers past my ticket. Then the other male staff who gave me the ticket came over and repeated that I have to get a new ticket. He said that I was supposed to stand there and wait for the table and not go anywhere, and that’s he had told the people who were there waiting that if you miss your number then it’s gone. I asked him “You did not tell me this when you gave me this ticket and how would I know what you said to these people if I wasn’t here?”. They obviously did not give a crap and just continued with their disgraceful attitude.

The attitude and service of the staff here have always been very rude but this is just totally unacceptable.
