"NEXT TIME, WHY DON'T YOU GO TO McDONALDS" - Orange Tree Restaurant Owner to us.That is EXACTLY what the owner said to my friends as he handed us the bill, "Next time, why don't you go to McDonalds", and he wasn't joking. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR BY ANY MEASURE. The only reason I can think of why he said that to us is because he felt we didn't order "enough", apparently, a meal of HKD500+ is too cheap for his fine restaurant. Or maybe because we look young and he felt like he could

We just stunned and cannot understand why he said those words, why would you EVER say that to a customer, especially when they are paying? We were polite and friendly customers who were just enjoying ourselves and out of the blue, he just said it as we handed us the bill. I was so upset that I made an account just to let everyone know what happened. I hope you read this Orange Tree Restaurant Owner and understand you just lost our business and our friends' business.
As for the food - mediocre, it was not bad, it was just average. A bit too salty for my taste.
We will never return.
