The US beef pockets filled with spring onions, and the crispy pancake wrapped with Kurobuta pork were a surprise too, the latter tasted like a Japanese version of Chinese jiangbing.
I particularly enjoyed the pace of the food served, towards the end of the meal when the fried rice was served, the chef speeded up and finished cooking the beef and pork, as well as the veggies, so you have all of them to go with the rice! Also there were a bowl of tofu miso soup and fancy burdock and radish pickles- call it the finale.

Dessert was brûléed toasts with scoops of your choice, they served chestnut/ pistachio/ azuki red beans flavours. Mine was chestnut and I loved it! Another rainy day well-spent.
