we bumped into this restaurant randomly. Since it's closed to the pier and we were just seeking for a open area to sit in, as a result, we chose here. Sampan serves a nice view of the sea, especially during sunset, the view was awesome!we had ordered something casual and fast:1. Garoupa cutlet with perserved pickle in sweet & sour sauce ($75+10%);apparently frozen seafood, just reheat them with some onions and sweet & sour sauce. I couldn't really taste the fish at all, I only felt like tasting

apparently frozen seafood, just reheat them with some onions and sweet & sour sauce. I couldn't really taste the fish at all, I only felt like tasting the flour...
this is the fair dish out of the rest... a bit pricey for such small portion though...
the sauce is very strong and tasty as expected! once again, very small portion dish...
this is a very salty dish... I couldn't taste the fresh taste of clams at all... the strong sauce had alread covered all...
lastly, when we had our bill, I saw they 'mistakenly' charged $11 more. I questioned them and they appologized. We had a 'correct' bill afterwards...
except it serves a nice view of the sea, I dun happen to see anything very impressing me here... sigh
if I had better planning and did better researches, I would have to go for other nicer restaurants than this...
