Statement has always been delivering high level of service and food quality, regardless the 'host' of the restaurant. Aqua Kyoto is a very typical Western fusion restaurant. The food may not impress the picky palates of North Asians, but it has great ambience with good taste of music and it is basically a concept that Westerners have on Japanese food. Why not? At least it doesn't have the cold faces of waitresses of typical Japanese restaurants in HK.
