Another new take-away/restaurant opened around the Sheung Wan area, I saw from the news that many celebrities came during their grand opening to support their popular Hainan Chicken rice! Since we passed by this area during the weekend for a cup of coffee, we decided to stop by for a take away meal to bring home to check whether this hype is real! We picked the famous Hainan Chicken rice (princess chicken rice!) and another popular dish which is the marinated pork knuckle rice. Both of the rice came with some veggie and a piece of coconut dessert. The portion was right - not too big nor too small.

The Chicken itself was tender, rich and soft. Easy to chew, the taste was very good, we actually want more of the chicken after finished the whole. The sauces provided was delicious, they offer three types of sauces: sweet and chilli, their homemade soy chilli sauce and of course the typical onions and garlic. We picked the first two options and I loved the sweet and chilli one the most.

The pork knuckle rice on the other hand was marinated with soy sauce which the flavour was just right, not too sweet nor salty. The meat itself was fat and with the right balance of meat - tasty I must say and once could keep refilling the rice just for this meaty-licous dish.

Overall, this place is perfect for anyone who would love to grab a take-away or a quick eat in this busy area as their price is definitely reasonable for what you get!
