Ordered a pudding that I recognized from a long time ago (when I first came to Hong Kong). It seems to have changed a bit -- less crunchy now.The name on the menu (in Chinese) has changed also. Used to be frog uterus (which I still do not believe (more likely a metaphor) because of the size). It has now changed to something more vague and hard to translate. Still called 'hassama' or something in English. But this time was different. This time, the 'uterine bits' were not crunchy. More gelatinous

But this time was different. This time, the 'uterine bits' were not crunchy. More gelatinous, and in the shape of thin slices from a cube. The pudding was rich, but not too flavourful. The bits were...well....just like gelatine. So there was some variety in the textural experience and the taste experience (to a lesser degree).
What did put me off was the overt cheapness of this establishment: The cutlery was plastic; the dishes were plastic. I think my dish was likely taken from a fridge and microwaved. There was nothing to indicate any level of pride and professionalism in the preparation of this dish. This really lowered my opinion of value with respect to the dish.
题外话/补充资料:
Rather hard to get the servers' attention. It was somewhat busy; but possibly understaffed also.
