Set Dinner:
For this price i felt they could have done better. The appetizer had been deep fried.... I expected it to be baked, which would've given it a better taste and texture...as I could literally see and taste the oil absorbed by the eggplant whilst cooking.
The soup was good, not too salty.
The tuna was also disappointing. It was tough to cut, probably beacuse it was served way too rare. Seared tuna is meant to be cooked so the outsides are browned but this was only cooked to the colour of tuna on the outside and red on the inside. It also lacked in flavour...perhaps they could have marinated it before cooking?
The tiramisu was a chocolate flavoured one, which was good but I was so full i couldn't finish it.
Lasagne:
This was by no means the traditional lasagne with bechamel, mozzarella and meat sauce. Instead, it came with layers of single lasagne noodles and a chinese interpretation of bolognese sauce. It tasted good but was way too oily....
I also noticed the menu had somewhat shrunk? I dont think i will be visiting here anytime in the near future.
