Walked past Bite by Bite recently and their creative menu and cute store front really peaked my interest! Walked past Bite by Bite recently and their creative menu and cute store front really peaked my interest! — Have you ever seen 碗仔翅 presented so nicely? 😂 This looked good and tasted amazing. The broth was rich and flavourful, with a strong fish maw and mushroom taste to it which was extremely fragrant. The julienned konjac noodles were soft, and soaked up all the flavours really well. The small chunks of meat in this added that extra umami boost and nice chew. The fried seaweed strip on top was crunchy and so delicious when dunked in the soup!

— SO good! The tan tan sauce was fragrant and so delicious. I loved the peanut aroma mixed with the chilis, giving it a distinctive nutty taste. The thin angel hair texture made it possible for the noodles to soak up all the goodness in the sauce.


Pic 3️⃣: 铁板虾头油菜脯烧卖 / 𝗦𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗶𝘂 𝗠𝗮𝗶 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗽 𝗢𝗶𝗹 - $58 hkd
— I need my siu mai served like this from now on 😂 This was actually crazy good! The shrimp oil and X.O. sauce really elevated the entire dish, and added to the savoury, umami profile. The dried radish added a good crunch and slight sweetness as well.


Pic 4️⃣: 零陵香豆布丁蛋糕 / 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗣𝘂𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 - $78 hkd 🍮
— The tonka bean flavour was intense, and resembled a nutty, and slightly spicy vanilla flavour. This was contrasted nicely with the delicate lychee mousse and a light and sweet sponge cake. The cookie crumbles also added a good crunch too.


Pic 5️⃣: 杨枝甘露果冻碗 / 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝘄𝗹 - $62 hkd 🥭🥥
— Portion size was underwhelming for the price, barely half full 😅 Flavours were mediocre as the mango taste was a bit artificial and lacked a fruity aroma to it. However, there is a good combination of contrasting textures and their homemade mini taro balls were tasty.
