Then a step into the indoor area, the atmosphere is marvelous. The ceiling is filled with light bubbles and oars to emphasize the sailor themed of the restaurant. On the side, there is a wall full of vintage and leather BELTS. Behind that, there is a wall decorated with some 3D printed utensils shelves. It looks excellent and photogenic, I am sure people can have lots of great shots with it.

And something that you cannot be missed would be the stools, there are three kinds of stools and they are all tailor-made for the restaurant! One of my favorite is this bizarre looking of leather stool, it got a rusty bicycle steps and chains at the bottom.

Some alcohol before the meal would be good, the bartender recommended this Annli Genovesi first. Its appearance is adorable, a layer of elderflower foam on top and decorate with orange zest. The taste is completely refreshing, it carries a hint of light and sweet flavor, girls will love it for sure.

After that, we started off from a starter called Crunchy Lamb with Roasted Gazpacho, the coldtomato soup pairs with a freshly deep fried lamb filled puff. Don’t be shy and use your hands, grab the puff and dip that into the soup. The puff is slightly salty, nonetheless the tomato based cold soup can balance the taste. The hot and cold, smooth and crunchy textures are fascinating, totally good for a start!

Next is a colorful dish, Salmon with Blue Cheese. A piece of blue cheese was wrapped with a slice of smoked salmon, the combination is fully impactful! The strong blue cheese taste has a bit overshadow the salmon, yet the sour Peruvian groundberry can freshen up the flavors.

The following dish is Sesame Scallop, . The scallop is faintly coated with sesames and there is a piece of crispy parma ham on top. I like that scallop is medium cooked, therefore the texture is moisture and al dente. It creates an outstanding texture with the crispy bread at the bottom.

Soon, Royal Prawns has arrived the table. This is one of the best dishes for the meal and if you like to eat prawn, this is a dish that you MUST TRY! The shell-less prawn got a natural sweet taste and the firm texture is surely appealing. Besides than the excellent work on the prawn, that brown and half-ball-shaped pate is MIND BLOWING too!! It is made with the essence of the prawn’s head, the texture is a rather similar to a thicker foam and that rich prawn flavor will just last in your mouth for a while.

A while later, the Duck Cigar has been served to us. It is similar to a spring roll and it does thick and long like a cigar, nonetheless I would say this is the BEST dish among all, you will regret if you didn’t try that here!! The deep fried surface is completely crispy, yet it is the EXTREMELY juicy and tender duck meat who does the magic. The shredded duck meat filling is a blast, the juicy duck fat is delicious and I am addicted. I don’t like to smoke, but I can have two of this cigars!

Succeeding, is a dish with a twist! Can you tell the secret of this dish by its look? This is supposed to be Stuffed Monkfish with noodles and what do I mean by “supposed to be” is that the spaghetti alike noodles is actually SQUID!!!!! None of us can differentiate that until we get a bite, that slightly chewy texture just reveal the truth. The squid noodles has absolutely overtake the cod, nevertheless the cod is also cooked perfectly with plenty of minced spices.

Another main course is Coquelet, for a moment I thought it is a huge chicken thigh lol. The serve helps to pour some sauce over it, I bet you can’t guess what is it made with, the sauce is literally chocolate based!! But don’t expect a sweet and strong chocolate taste, it is quite light chocolate taste and surely not sweet. I would suggest to be gentle on the sauce, if put too much it would overshadow the fillings. The chicken is rather tender and works perfectly with the shrimp, it would be better if the chicken to be a bit juicier.

My stomach is full with all these yummy food, however no way to end the meal without DESSERT! The Matcha & Chocolate Coulant is actually a soufflé with molten chocolate based and you are still able to taste a hint of the matcha flavor. It might be a bit sweetness overload, that’s why you gotta have a spoon of the ginger mousse on the side. The spicy ginger pieces is exciting and bring this dessert to another level, just KILLING IT!
