Needless to say, I am a frequent buyer of Starbucks’ products and this time I will be writing a review on the Soba Noodle with Teriyaki Chicken ($ 38.5), Basque Burnt Coffee Cheesecake ($31.5), and Manuka Honey Ginger Black Tea (only $12.9 cause they were doing a $20 off on tea purchase!).I hope I am not beating a dead horse here as I am gonna praise their tea once again. Manuka honey has a range of health benefits and surely it substitutes the sugar normally added to their otherwise sweet-laden
I hope I am not beating a dead horse here as I am gonna praise their tea once again. Manuka honey has a range of health benefits and surely it substitutes the sugar normally added to their otherwise sweet-laden handcraft drinks. Again, I removed the two tea bags after 10 mins of purchasing lest the tea be too bitter and I still vouch for that. The gingery tea is well-suited for this winter and it can even be used as a hand warmer when fresh and hot!
Mind you that the cheesecake is extremely dense and the taste of coffee is on the rich side so it could scare off those who expect to have a light treat. The soba noodle is definitely a healthier alternative of carbs if you care about your weight and even though this chicken set sat in the fridge for some time, the chicken didn’t lose its moisture and didn’t come out as old / rigid.
Overall, this set is a good buy as it comes cold and could be eaten cold which saved time and effort to heat up if you are couchbound like me!
