The waiters here are jovial and helpful. Really nice to talk to. Might not be as 'polite' as you'd expect but I'd rather talk to them than the prim and proper waiters/waitresses. Less stressful. 1. Smoked salmon salad + 'pulled' beef burger (set lunch @ 98)Pretty good! the smoked salmon was quite fresh. The piece of bread underneath could've been abandoned. Pretty good! the smoked salmon was quite fresh. The piece of bread underneath could've been abandoned. And there was nothing special about the leaves but what do you expect.
2. Spaghetti in pesto sauce with grilled chicken
This was good. Pesto sauce not too thick, and the dish wasn't oily. The chicken could've been juicier but oh well. Shaved bits of parmesan on top, upgrades the dish by half a notch!
3. Cheesecake with strawberry sauce and chocolate bits ($36)
NOT good at all. The chocolate buttons tasted funny, as if they had been overcooked @@ and the cheesecake itself was...just weird. It wasn't cold. and it was a bit toooooo mushy. I prefer hard, refrigerated cheesecake. There were some fruits on the side....better than none. The crust of the pie wasn't crumbly either. Not good. Do not try.
Overall:
Well, I would come back again. I've grown out of TripleO's burgers, and there's no place to eat GREAT's salads inside Great (fail!!) so. GREAT CAFE would be an alright choice.
