Overall food is good quality and I appreciate that they serve the dishes in the appropriate order - appetisers and sashimi before the hot dishes. Price was reasonable for the quality. Service was attentive but slightly frantic, perhaps due to the restaurant being very busy that evening. Bathroom was surprisingly nice, with amenities such as mouthwash and cotton buds available. However the seating is a bit cramped and the restaurant was a too warm for my liking. The restaurant is partially outdoors and they had their big windows opened which resulted in a lot of the AC going outside. My friend and I were pretty much sweating throughout the dinner. My thighs left sweat marks on the chair. Bill came to around $1200 for two people. We ordered just a few food items and two beers each. Considering that there are so many quality Japanese restaurants in Hong Kong, I’m not sure if I would necessarily return to this one. Not bad, but not great.
