RECOMMENDED: This restaurant on the 3rd floor in a popular little side street full of restaurants. The Gaylord offers a standard fare of Indian dishes, all the types of Tandoori and curries you expect to see as well as a selection of special Bangladeshi dishes (though I didn't try these). The dishes were all nicely presented and nicely flavored as well. The freshly baked breads were quite good. The decor is above average for an Indian location and prices are modest, tablecloths and live music (on this Saturday night) made for an enjoyable evening. A small bar is out front in the event you have to wait for a table. Service during our visit was more than acceptable. The total bill was reasonable and in line for a typical Indian restaurant.
It is difficult in my single visit to say there is anything particularly BAD or GOOD about the Gaylord. In short, it was a typical Indian restaurant with decent though unspectacular food. If I were in the neighborhood, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again but likely wouldn't go out of my way to visit, thus I don't hesitate to recommend it..
