Good coffee, mediocre food.

Veygo wanchai is an extension to the Veygo sheung wan cafe. I've tried their coffee at sheung wan, and I recall that it was not bad. so I decided to check out their food today arrived at around 12:15pm and there was no lineup. there were lunch sets available, which were basically the price of main + drinks but you get a soup for free. Since it was Green Monday, I got myself a veggie all day breakfast and a cappuccino. the presentation of the all day breakfast was quite..bland, nothing fancy. it

 the presentation of the all day breakfast was quite..bland, nothing fancy. it came with two eggs, roasted tomato, zucchini, hash brown, and an Italian foccacio. the eggs were overdone, the hash brown was cardboardy and dry as it was over fried, the zucchinis were dried (no olive oil nor balsalmic vinegar smeared on them)..the bread was okay, but nothing outstanding. I find the price $75 was overpriced for the quality and amount of food.

 although the food wasn't impressive, fortunately the cappuccino was good. It was fairly aromatic with a hint of nutty oil when you savor it. Good portion of foam, but I find the bubbles too big, not smooth enough, a drawback.

After checking out Veygo at Wan Chai, will I come back again? Maybe? But only for coffee.
