The food here is good, not spectacular but good. Certainly not a terrible place to come if you're in the mood for Xiao Long Bao.Having said that, just be prepared to be treated not particularly nicely. my most recent anecdote; I showed up on a Saturday morning a few minutes after 11 o'clock when they open. The place was not busy yet. I was seated and in less than a minute a waitress came to take my order. I asked her if I could have a minute to look at the menu. She didn't understand me, which is okay of course, so she went for help. A moment later the hostess came over and with a sulk on her face and an aggressive posture asked me what I wanted. I told her I just needed a minute to look at the menu. She rolled her eyes and walked away, and then I couldn't get anybody to come over the next 10 minutes.
That is kind of typical in this place. Not the first time I have been here, and I always find it very cold - like they just want you in and out. Like I said, the food is decent and if you can tolerate the service it's not a terrible place to eat.
